ANTI INFLAMMATORY LIVER LOVING SMOOTHIE WITH TURMERIC
What is Turmeric?
A smoothie is such a great way to start the day. It is the simplest way to get a whole lot of nutrition in your body that will fuel you throughout your morning. I love to make a double batch and then save on for the afternoon. This is a great way to avoid the afternoon crash and have something healthy on hand. Just put the extra in a glass mason jar and bring it with you to work or pop it in your fridge.
This Anti-Inflammatory Liver Loving Smoothie has Turmeric in it. Turmeric has been used for thousands of years in India. Curcumin is the main ingredient in turmeric and it has powerful ant-inflammatory effects and is a very strong antioxidant.

- Exposure to fluoride in our toothpaste and drinking water
When our livers become overburdened the body cannot detox itself fast enough and then a back up of toxins can happen in to body, which can lead to poor health. Turmeric is a natural anti-inflammatory compound. Yay Turmeric!
Turmeric looks likes very similar to a ginger root. It has a beautiful orange color when you cut
it open. You can usually find turmeric root at your health food store or you can buy
Turmeric in powdered form as a spice to add to your food. Either way it’s a super food for your body.
ANTI INFLAMMATORY LIVER LOVING SMOOTHIE WITH TURMERIC
1 small red apple
1 orange
1-cup coconut water
¼ cup almond milk (my simple homemade recipe for almond milk)
½ to 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (l like plant based)
1 tsp. turmeric
1 tsp. cinnamon
1-cup ice
Add to blender and enjoy!
