Is Lipstick the Missing Link to Fitness

Is Lipstick the Missing Link to Fitness?

You all know I live in my exercise clothes; they are my “Work” clothes.  I truly believe that we should always strive to look and feel our best no matter what we are doing.  Why? Certainly not to impress any one else no quite the opposite.
What you wear and how you present your self can make a huge impact on meeting your fitness and health goals.  How you ask?
Well, picture youself relaxing at home, and you are lounging in big baggy sweat pants that you could fit three people in.  Your hair is in the “crazy up do” you know the one I am talking about. (My girlfiends even gave it a name "THE DUPE", don't ask my why)  The one you would not be caught dead wearing out even to the grocery store. No make up and an unflattering baggy top to complete the outfit.
How does this really make you feel? Ask your husband or boyfriend about your “comfy” look and see what they think, if you dare.
Big baggy clothes make it a lot easier to eat more food, because the elastic is not telling you if they are getting too tight.  Baggy clothes are a way of hiding what we are not happy with.  There is a huge difference between baggy clothes and clothes that compliment your figure.
Now please don't misunderstand me, there is nothing wrong about relaxing, being comfy and just plain chilling. But what if you put on a little blush, ran a brush through your hair, maybe a cute ponytail, a stylish pair of exercise pants and a cute top that you love.  How do you feel now?  Taking the time to make some small changes, that will lift your spirits and put you in a better place. Doing this is one of the keys that will help you stick to your health and fitness goals.
When you take the time to do small things for yourself, you feel better, you hold your head a little higher and you are better able to keep your vision of a fit and fabulous shape on track.  Plus you will walk around more confident and happy and what is wrong with that?
